The Woodland House

Project Summary

For this 6,000-square-foot new build, we set out to bring warmth, depth, and CURATION to a completely new home. A restrained palette of creamy neutrals, rich woods, earthy browns and soft black is layered with natural materials, tactile textiles and sculptural forms to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply comfortable. Throughout the home, contrast became an important part of the story: dark wood against soft upholstery, clean architectural lines balanced by organic shapes, and contemporary furnishings mixed with pieces that feel collected rather than overly new. From the intimate, textural dining room to the relaxed living spaces and serene primary suite, each room carries its own identity while remaining connected through a consistent material and color story. The result is a home that feels modern without feeling stark, neutral without feeling expected, and sophisticated without sacrificing comfort.
