West 5th Avenue Interiors is a full-service design firm and real estate team guiding you through every stage-from purchasing, designing, renovating, furnishing, installation, staging, and selling. We approach each space with intention- managing all the details to ensuring a seamless and thoughtful process throughout. Collaboration is at the core of our work, partnering closely with other real estate professionals, architects, builders, and our clients to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Our mission is to design interiors that feel elevated yet livable—spaces that reflect the people who inhabit them while exceeding expectations in both form and function. We honor strong architectural foundations, layering in a fresh, considered perspective that brings new life and purpose to each home. The result is an environment that feels cohesive, personal, and enduring.

West 5th Avenue was founded by Lauren Serratore, as a tribute to her late grandmother, an inspiring, business-minded creative whose entrepreneurial spirit continues to influence the brand. This foundation informs our approach: thoughtful, intentional, and rooted in both creativity and purpose. While our work spans a range of styles, we are drawn to interiors that balance clean, bright foundations with moments of contrast—layering color, pattern, texture, and a curated mix of old and new.

Based in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, we serve clients throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, with select services available remotely.

Meet Lauren

Founder, Principal Designer, and Realtor®

With over a decade of experience spanning luxury hospitality and high-end residential design, Lauren Serratore founded West 5th Avenue Interiors on the belief that everyone deserves a home that is as inspiring as it is functional. Her work is rooted in the idea that thoughtful design has the power to elevate not only a space, but the way people live within it.

A graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Lauren went on to earn her NCIDQ certification while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of project types—from large-scale hospitality environments to bespoke residential homes. This foundation shaped her comprehensive understanding of the design process, from concept development and space planning to construction administration and final styling.

In addition to her design expertise, Lauren is a licensed Realtor®, bringing a unique dual perspective to her work. This integrated approach allows her to guide clients not only in how a home looks and functions, but how it performs. Whether purchasing, renovating, or preparing a property for market, bridging design and real estate allows clients to make informed, strategic decisions while realizing the full potential of their spaces.

Lauren is known for her highly personalized approach, working across a variety of styles while tailoring each project to reflect her clients’ lifestyles, tastes, and goals. She values strong relationships and believes the most successful projects are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and ability to navigate both creative and logistical aspects of a project ensure a seamless and elevated experience from start to finish.

A Philadelphia-area native, Lauren draws constant inspiration from the region’s rich architectural history and has a particular appreciation for homes with character, especially the timeless charm of a stone house at the end of a tree-lined street.

Outside of her work, you can find her exploring new restaurants, sourcing new products and inspiration, working on personal projects at her 250-year-old home, or spending time with her husband, daughter, son, and their four-legged companion.
