west 5th avenue interiors is a full-service design firm assisting in the vast project stages of your most loved spaces. We take designs from concept to selection to execution and everything in between. We love collaborating with architects, builders, and you, to create an equally beautiful and functional space for you
to enjoy.
Our mission is to create beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtful interiors that exceed client expectation and compliment their aesthetic and lifestyle. We respect good architectural bones and couple them with a new take on their interior. We help turn houses into homes and dreams into realities. We create the spaces which allow you to create the memories.
west 5th avenue was created, as a nod to Lauren’s late grandmother- her favorite business oriented creative and entrepreneur, to provide a fresh take on the design process, and a timeless yet compelling take on interiors. While we work within a variety of design styles, we enjoy unexpected color, pattern, and texture, bright and clean backdrops, and a healthy mix of old and new.
We are currently serving Philadelphia, PA and the surrounding tri-state area for in person projects and are available to work remotely upon request.

Lauren Serratore
Principal + Design Lead
With over a decade of design experience ranging from luxury hospitality to high end bespoke residential, Lauren began her boutique design firm on the basic belief that everyone deserves an inspiring, comforting, and functional place to call home.
After graduating with a Bachelors in Interior Design from Drexel University, Lauren went on to obtain her NCIDQ certification while diving into the vast project stages of both hospitality and high end residential projects through her various professional roles. She has since ventured out on her own to provide full service design with an emphasis on enhancing her clients’ lives.
She believes your space should reflect your taste, lifestyle, and experiences and she is here to help make them a reality. She thrives working within a variety of styles and takes a personal and customized approach to all interiors projects.
Lauren brings a fresh eye to the design process and she prides herself on her attention to detail, her responsiveness to different project and client types, and her willingness to meet and exceed all expectation as it pertains to design and decor, timeline, and budget.
She embraces all aspects of the design process from conception and scheme building, to construction administration, to accessorizing, and everything in between.
She holds her clients in the highest regard and believes the design process is about building relationships based on quality, trust, and understanding in order to achieve the most desired outcome.
A native to the Philadelphia area she finds inspiration in the city’s rich history and architecture and has a true soft spot for the old stone home at the end of the tree lined street.
When Lauren isn’t designing, you can find her sporting a top knot while surfing the web for inspiration, checking out a new restaurant in Philadelphia, tackling personal projects at her 250 year old abode, or sitting on the beach with her husband, daughter, and rescue fur babies.
